Re: Settings question. They are sound effects and graphics effects. The former controls the audio level of the game and the latter controls the graphics quality. The only discernable difference I can see between the graphics settings is object pop-up distance. I suspect a lesser frame rate would likely come into play on borderline hardware.

Do following: 1. Go to your firewall and put Farming Simulator 15, and Steam folder. 2. Turn off UAC on your computer. (Step 1-3) is just a preperation and might not solve the problem but it's better to do this as well. Just to make sure these small adjustments aren't blocking the connection.
